Overwatch Releases RoadTracker for Feature Analyst
Overwatch Geospatial announces the release of RoadTrackerTM as an extension to its award-winning feature-extraction program, Feature Analyst®. RoadTracker accelerates the collection of roads and other linear features from satellite and aerial imagery. RoadTracker works by having an analyst click on two ends of a linear feature (such as a road) and the software automatically traces the centerline of the feature between these two endpoints, curves and all. RoadTracker also includes automatic feature attribution, and other ‘smart editing’ tools that save time and money by greatly improving speed, accuracy, and workflow when collecting map-quality linear features. This application is functional on any road surface type using either panchromatic or multi-spectral imagery. For more details on the RoadTracker extension for Feature Analyst, click here.
