As a result we are looking for higher-education partners working in the fields of remote sensing, data mining, terrestrial LIDAR, vegetation mapping, hyperspectral imaging, urban GIS and many other fields to share their application stories with us. Please take a moment to tell us what you are doing with our products and your current research interests in geospatial technology. Overwatch Training Days Recap Overwatch Geospatial recently hosted Training Days in Sterling, Virginia. During the 3 days of courses, held Sept. 16-18, attendees had the opportunity to learn more about Feature Analyst, LIDAR Analyst and Urban Analyst. Beginner classes focused on fundamentals, including setting up projects and getting started with extractions. Advanced classes focused on clean-up techniques and batch processing. Training seminars such as this one provide "tremendous value for GIS analysts who wish to maintain or gain new skills in feature extraction, data visualization and urban analyses," explained Stuart Blundell, chief operating officer for Overwatch Geospatial's Visual Learning Systems operations.
