In order to download or purchase VLS software, you must first login to an existing account or create an account with VLS. Login or create an account using by clicking one of the following links. Free trial versions of all software are available for download. Installation files contain the respective software installer, installation instructions, and a tutorial project with images and shape files. Feature Analyst Feature Analyst exists as a plug-in to the following platforms: ArcGIS® 9.3 & earlier; ERDAS IMAGINE® 9.3 & earlier; Overwatch's ELT® 5500, GIV 3.0 and ILT systems; and GeoMedia Pro® up to version 6.0, simplifying digital cartography with automated extraction of any image feature, including roads, buildings, and waterbodies, from all types of geospatial imagery. LIDAR Analyst LIDAR Analyst currently extends ArcGIS and ERDAS IMAGINE, simplifying the process of exploiting LIDAR (light detection and ranging) data, classifying features, and generating three- dimensional visualization. LIDAR Analyst is compatible with ArcGIS 9.3 & earlier and ERDAS IMAGINE 9.3 & earlier. Urban Analyst Urban Analyst is compatible with ArcGIS 9.2 & 9.3. Note: In order for Urban Analyst to function properly, you must have an NVIDIA graphics card (minimum GeForce 6000 Series with 128 MB of memory). RoadTracker by GeoEye RoadTracker, developed in conjunction with GeoEye as an extension to Feature Analyst, accelerates the collection of roads and other linear features from satellite or aerial imagery. RoadTracker works by automatically tracing the centerline of a feature between two defined endpoints. RoadTracker also includes automatic feature attribution and other ‘smart editing’ tools that save organizations time and money by greatly improving speed, accuracy, and overall workflow in the collection of map-quality linear features. Note: In order to install the GeoEye Interactive RoadTracker for Feature Analyst, you must first install ArcGIS or IMAGINE and Feature Analyst 4.2. Also, please note that RoadTracker does not come with a tutorial image (the images in the Feature Analyst tutorial are not suitable for use in RoadTracker). Ideal images for RoadTracker are multispectral images from IKONOS or Quickbird (4 bands, 11 bits per pixel). |
